Feral Cat Support focuses on prevention. We prevent thousands of unwanted kittens from being born in Ventura County year after year through TNR (trap, neuter, return).
Up to 80% of cats are born outside continually having kittens. Just scooping up kittens and taking them to a shelter or rescue does not solve the problem. Feral Cat Support gets the cats fixed through TNR. #neuteriscuter #spayistheway
Resources will be used for traps, crates, carriers, litter, cat food, flea medicine, gas cards for trappers, pet retention, paid trappers, and vet bills. Money for prevention will trickle down to less kittens being born, less spay and neuters, less fostering and so on.
